NEW YORK/SYDNEY (Reuters) -Global stocks advanced and longer-dated U.S. yields slipped on Monday, at the start of a week jammed with earnings and a trio of central bank meetings that could see the United States and Britain open the door to interest rate cuts.
The best performers of the session on the S&P/TSX Composite were Osisko Mining Corp (TSX:OSK), which rose 3.59% or 0.11 points to trade at 3.17 at the close. Meanwhile, Eldorado Gold Corp (TSX:ELD) added 3.33% or 0.74 points to end at 22.93 and Seabridge Gold Inc . (TSX:SEA) was up 3.30% or 0.74 points to 23.17 in late trade.
